Guest Reviews & Ratings

What Guests Are Saying?

Review summary

Based on recent reviews

Guests consistently highlight the Hilton Reykjavik Nordica as a beautiful, modern, and clean hotel, often mentioning the spacious rooms and comfortable beds, some even enjoying upgraded rooms with ocean or mountain views. The hotel's location proves convenient for tour pickups, and the on-site parking is a definite plus in Reykjavik. Breakfast receives positive feedback for its fantastic selection, though a few guests found it could become a bit monotonous after a few days. The well-equipped gym is a notable amenity, and while the hotel isn't right in the heart of the tourist area, it's within reasonable distance to shops and restaurants.

poor treatment unacceptable service

the service at the bar was unacceptable. i asked for the check repeatedly, but i was ignored. this ruined my new year experience and it's disappointing, especially considering the cost. i hope management addresses this issue because it is not fair to pay so much and receive such poor treatment. it was really bad

broken door room temperature

the staff was amazing, they gave a personalized welcome packet upon checkin, a very nice touch.

Our bathroom door didn't close at all, even when slamming it, it was very frustrating. the hotel room was too hot, and i couldn't adjust the temperature. doors above us slamming shut were really annoying for a couple hours. I complained to the front desk but it didn't really help
